Dreaming of a Disney Cruise Vacation?
We’ve made it to October, which means you’re probably already daydreaming about your next summer vacation. You’re looking for something the kids will love and a chance to truly relax yourself—and a Disney Cruise blends both perfectly.

Disney’s fleet continues to grow and now includes six ships: the Disney Magic, Disney Wonder, Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, Disney Wish, and Disney Treasure, with the Disney Destiny soon to follow. These ships sail to destinations all over the world, including the Caribbean, Bahamas, Alaska, Mexico, Europe, Hawaii, the South Pacific, and Australia.

No matter which itinerary you choose, every ship offers incredible options for every age group: themed Oceaneer Clubs for kids, Vibe and Edge Clubs for teens, and plenty of 18+ activities designed exclusively for adults. Traveling with teens? Addison shares why Disney cruising is just as magical for older kids.

Why Choose Concierge Level?

Concierge evenings onboard feel extra magical — from elegant dinners to picture-perfect family moments.

Every Disney Cruise is filled with magic, but you can take your vacation one step further by upgrading to the Concierge Level. This elevated experience delivers the best of both worlds—exclusive perks and personalized service that make traveling with kids smoother, plus refined touches designed for adults who want a more luxurious escape.

From priority boarding to private lounges, Concierge Level transforms your cruise into something truly unforgettable. So, what exactly does it include?

Priority Boarding

Concierge guests enjoy easy access to character meet-and-greets, no waiting required!

Concierge guests are among the first to board, typically between 10:30 and 11:00 a.m., much earlier than other passengers. Before boarding, you’ll relax in a private lounge with comfortable seating, complimentary drinks, and a chance to meet your Concierge Hosts.

Once onboard, you’ll step into the ship’s grand atrium for a royal welcome. Instead of heading to a crowded buffet, Concierge guests enjoy a Welcome Lunch in one of the main dining rooms. This exclusive sit-down meal features attentive service and an upgraded menu—a calm, elegant start to your vacation.

Concierge Lounge & Sundeck

Concierge-level magic with Captain Mickey himself — unforgettable memories at sea.

Another highlight of Concierge Level is access to the Concierge Lounge, a beautifully designed space for relaxing, snacking, or enjoying a cocktail with ocean views. Each ship features a refreshed lounge, and select ships—like the Disney Dream, Fantasy, Wish, and Treasure—also include a private Concierge Sundeck with loungers, hot tubs, and a dedicated bar.

Inside the lounge, you’ll find pastries, fruit, and coffee each morning, afternoon hors d’oeuvres, and decadent desserts in the evening. My personal favorite? The fresh scones served daily from 3:00–4:30 p.m.

Families love the comfortable seating and TVs playing Mickey Mouse Shorts, while adults often head to the sundeck for quiet relaxation and ocean views.

Concierge Hosts: Disney’s Fairy Godmothers at Sea

One of the best Concierge perks: early access to book private cabanas on Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay.

If you’ve ever stood in line at Guest Services, you’ll appreciate this perk—Concierge guests have their own private Guest Services team, known as the Concierge Hosts.

These incredible hosts go above and beyond to ensure every detail is handled. They can:

  • Reserve specialty dining at Palo or Remy

  • Arrange spa appointments or beverage tastings

  • Coordinate Port Adventures and onboard activities

  • Secure character meet-and-greets or prime seating for shows

  • Handle main dining requests or special celebrations

One of the best Concierge perks is early access to book excursions and cabanas before anyone else—even first-time cruisers! This means you’ll have a real chance to reserve one of the highly coveted private cabanas at Castaway Cay or Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, often sold out within minutes for general guests.

For families, the hosts are truly magical—whether they’re delivering snacks to your room, planning birthday surprises, or helping parents find a little time to relax.

My Concierge Experience

Disney Cruise Line Magical Moments certificate congratulating Audrey on her graduation

Concierge magic made personal — Audrey’s graduation celebration aboard the Disney Dream.

Personally, I love staying Concierge. The extra space is perfect for my family of five, and the personalized touches make every trip unforgettable.

Over the summer, I sailed Concierge for my senior trip, and the team went above and beyond—surprising me with a celebration button and arranging a backstage tour of the Walt Disney Theatre aboard the Disney Dream. I met the cast, saw behind-the-scenes magic, and experienced a side of the cruise most guests never see. As a theater lover, it was a dream come true.

From larger staterooms to unmatched service, there are countless reasons to choose Concierge. For my family, it’s always worth it—every single time.
